Personal Data Request

If you are a customer or website visitor of Sole Play (operated by Favorite-Hi-Fashions, Inc. d/b/a Sole Play, located at 102 Central Park Avenue, Suite 1, Dothan, AL 36303, United States) and you would like to exercise your privacy rights, you can submit a request using the information below.

Who Can Submit a Request

Sole Play accepts and processes personal data requests from:

  • Residents of Alabama (Alabama Personal Data Protection Act, effective May 1, 2027)
  • Residents of any other U.S. state with applicable privacy law (including Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia)
  • Residents of Canada under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act ("PIPEDA") and applicable provincial privacy laws

Sole Play sells products only within the United States and Canada. We do not actively offer goods or services in any other jurisdiction. Personal data requests received from individuals outside the United States and Canada will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and processed only where legally required.

What You Can Request

Depending on your jurisdiction and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we have collected about you
  • Correct personal information that is inaccurate or incomplete
  • Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions
  • Receive a portable copy of your personal information in a usable format
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising (note: Sole Play does not sell personal data)
  • Withdraw consent to processing where processing is based on your consent
  • Object to certain processing activities, including marketing communications

What to Include in Your Request

To help us process your request promptly and accurately, please include:

  • Your full name and the email address(es) and phone number(s) you have used with Sole Play
  • Your state or province of residence (and country if outside the United States)
  • The specific right you are exercising (access, correction, deletion, etc.)
  • Any relevant order numbers or transaction details
  • If you are an authorized agent submitting on behalf of someone else, written authorization signed by the consumer

Identity Verification

To protect your privacy and the security of personal information, Sole Play will verify your identity before processing access, correction, deletion, or portability requests. We may ask you to confirm information already on file (such as a recent order number, the email address associated with your account, or other reasonable verification details) before disclosing or modifying personal information. We will never ask for your password, payment card number, or other sensitive financial information to verify your identity.

Response Timeframe

Sole Play will acknowledge receipt of your request within a reasonable period and will respond substantively as required by applicable law:

  • Alabama, Canada, and most U.S. state privacy laws: Within 45 calendar days (with a possible 45-day extension if reasonably necessary, with notice to you)
  • Other applicable laws: Within the timeframe required by the law applicable to your request

If we cannot fulfill your request, we will explain why in writing.

No Discrimination

Sole Play will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of quality solely because you submitted a personal data request.

Right to Appeal

If we deny your request in whole or in part, you may appeal our decision by replying to our denial email or by contacting us using any of the methods above and stating that you are appealing. We will respond to appeals within 60 calendar days (or as required by applicable law). If your appeal is denied, you may file a complaint with the appropriate regulatory authority:

  • U.S. residents: Your state attorney general's office
  • Canadian residents: The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or your provincial privacy commissioner

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a personal data request on your behalf. Sole Play may require the agent to provide proof of authorization (such as a signed permission, power of attorney, or other lawful documentation) and may require you to verify your own identity directly with us before fulfilling the request.
