This design's upper was inspired by European gothic armor and its structural, metallic properties. The upper also features a combination of sporty emboss synthetic leather overlays sporty open mesh underlays that help keep feet cool and comfortable.
The midsole features the same tooling system as the GEL-NIMBUS® 17 shoe. It was originally engineered for comfort during the marathons, featuring dual GEL® technology inserts and a FLUIDRIDE™ cushioning structure.
